Welcome!

Saint Joseph's is a Roman Catholic Parish in the Diocese of Providence, RI. We have the distinction of worshipping in the oldest continuously operating church building in the entire city of Providence.

We are a diverse community of believers, welcoming many local college students and visitors to Providence.

Our principal purpose as a community of faith is to worship God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to encounter the living presence of Jesus in the Sacraments. The Celebration of the Eucharist; The Holy Mass, stand at the center of our parish life.
